PADI® Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world. Course requirements​ -Swim Evaluation – 200 Yard Swim & 10min Tread/Float -Academic Exam – 50 Questions Multiple Choice -Practical Pool Training -4 Open Water Dives ​ Maximum Training Depth Dives 1 & 2 - 12 meters / 40 feet Dives 3 & 4 -18 meters / 60 feet​ ​ Age requirements Minimum age: 18 years old ​ Gear requirements Gear Requirements - Mask, Snorkel, Fins​​ 5-7mm Booties and 3-5mm Gloves Included in this cost: - Tuition: $499.00 - Books $125.00 Charged Later: - Rentals: $165.00 - BCD, Tanks, Weights, Reg, Computer, Etc - Ocean Dives: $175 - PADI certification Fee $65.00 Things that you will need to get on your own - Hotel if you need one for the Ocean - Personal Gear (Mask, Fins, Boots, Gloves) (Can be rented)
